Gina Tricot updated animal welfare policy – ban of mohair wool

We in Gina Tricot have a strong engagement for animals and their rights.

Since many years we have zero tolerance for real fur and angora-wool. 2017 we signed Swedish trade federations animal welfare policy along with other companies in the business. In these questions we are not competitors but strong together.

Last week the organisation PETA  released news about animal abuse in farms raising angora goats, this made us at Gina Tricot take a firm stand against the use of mohair wool in all our garments immediately. Already now no new orders will be placed with mohair wool as content and by 2019 Gina Tricot will be free from mohair wool in all our products.

For us in Gina Tricot this was not a hard decision to take, no animal should suffer for fashion
